Chosen Caregiver Support
Empowering Those Who Care

About Us

Learn about our mission, our story, and the people behind Chosen Caregiver Support.

Our Story

Chosen Caregiver Support was founded in 2015 by a small group of former family caregivers who had walked the difficult, often isolating path of caring for aging parents and family members with serious illnesses.

Having experienced the overwhelming demands β€” emotional, financial, and physical β€” they recognized a significant gap in support systems for unpaid family caregivers. Too many people were suffering in silence, unsure where to turn.

From a small support group in a local community center, Chosen Caregiver Support has grown into a nationally recognized non-profit, serving thousands of caregivers each year through direct services, education, and community.
